Door Systems

The following Door Refinishing Systems have been developed specifically for refinishing SMP coated rolling steel “mini-storage” roll and swing doors. These systems are designed for almost every type of situation including new, old, and previously painted doors.

Knowing there is not a “one size fits all” solution to all scenarios, specific systems have been designed taking into account such things as existing substrate to be painted over, condition, color, desired longevity, climate, time of year being applied, clean-ability, and cost versus benefit return.

These systems are in most cases not a single paint, but a system that includes surface preparation, the appropriate primer if required, and different finish coats and clear protective coatings used in combination to create the final finish. All systems include detailed instructions, expected service life, and warranty.

Below is an overview of the different systems with links to the detailed instructions and data sheets
